About the exhibition

Passion translated and interpreted through the arts is a small opening to the emotional and psychological trunk of the different artists who seek their emotions, feelings or ways of thinking beyond the rational through their work.

The exhibition revolves around “her” and in the work presented by each artist we find that idea, the idea of a single Muse, which could be nature, light, figure, femininity, fantasy or full freedom and its splendor.

Photographer Jvdas Berra, Contemporary Icon of Latin American fashion presents portraits of women who show themselves and know themselves beautiful in different situations such as taken from a fairy tale, which resembles the works of great artists throughout history, pieces that reflect Jvda’s taste for his craft.

Artist Beatriz Gomez presents a series of Oils on recycled canvas from garden ceilings. Beatriz, a nature lover and passionate about recycling where she combines different elements and forms in another of her passions “collage”; In the series of works that we present in Clavo this time we find her idea of nature and harmony, pieces such as Caribe or Portal transport us to her native Venezuela, her origins and much of her inspiration.

Another Venezuelan artist, Tania Riera presents a series of figurative abstracts, where the use of representative colors of her nation is evident. In the crossroads series, and of which we show 3 pieces we can see an obvious nostalgia towards his homeland and the political situation that unfolds in it. In her other works, Girl looking for one heart and Another’s heart again denotes the use of her national colors and the same nostalgia.

In the work of Vijat Mohindra, another of the contemporary photographers in ascent, we find in the same way the inspiring muse, the beauty of the female body in backgrounds and colors that create the perfect contrast to well-lit bodies of her models.

Photographer Jacobo Parra presents a series of female portraits with excellent lighting management, a different face to his passion for documentary photography and his work in the music scene.

Garret Suhrie shows a small selection of his pieces made in nature, true to his style, where light in the dark is the main element in each of his works. Endowed with an exceptional eye, for Suhrie any place is ideal to get her muse out – the night – denoting his expertise to capture through the slightest light images that before our eyes would be impossible to appreciate.

Abel Adrián presents a series of works inspired by the emotions reflected through the female figure, in his Oils “she” flirts between love and heartbreak.

She goes
She became pieces and fragments of shadows and boxes looking to lock her heart and crosses.
She hopes and she prays and she wonders what she doesn’t understand.
She goes thru darknes and fantasy looking for a place to stay between reallity and space.
She’s walking on a moon full of waters and sunseeds between frogs, greens and human-trees.
She lies, she lays and love to hide, she goes beyond the the shine of the sun and the sky.
