Hailing from Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Abel Adrián’s oeuvre deploys a vast array of colors, textures, and elements, which are heavily informed by psychology and expression.
From a young age, Adrián displayed an interest in the visual arts, designing decorative pieces using local materials, and eventually landing work in film, where his multifaceted talents saw him acting and directing. Since 2009, the year he formally self-proclaimed his career as an artist, Adrián has maintained his commitment to multidisciplinary practice, where painting, sculpture, design, film, and video, embrace.
