Fran Damor and Abel Adrián: the energy that moves through matter

The energy that moves through matter

On the night of October 22, the Hotel Sofitel in Mexico City lit up with the vibrant atmosphere of El Arte del Gran Premio 2025, an experience that fused painting, performance, and fashion into a single sensorial pulse. Amid the crowd, the lights, and the movement, two artists stood out for the intensity of their work: Fran Damor and Abel Adrián, who presented recent pieces that resonated for their visual and emotional language.

Both are part of a new generation of creators who understand art not only as form, but as a field of energy—a space where the intimate and the symbolic meet. Their works engage with the spiritual, the corporeal, and the sensorial from distinct yet deeply complementary territories.

A proposal emerged directly from chaos, where artists and curators moved at the same rhythm. Speed was part of the montage—a night of celebration between entertainment and expression. Throughout the evening, visitors and artists alike shared moments of sensitivity and connection. No one remained on the sidelines; the encounter became a night of resolved formulas and shared emotion.

The collaborating within our team is the result of how thoughtful and passionate we are about art.

Clavo Artist Fran Damor

Fran Damor works through sculpture and the alchemy of materials. In her Arca Celeste series, carved cedar intertwines with stones, pigments, and metals to create pieces that evoke both the sacred and the organic. Her process resembles a ritual—each cut, each insertion of matter seems to hold an ancestral memory, an echo that transforms the hardness of the material into a spiritual gesture. The sculptures emerge as suspended bodies between the earthly and the celestial.Interested art collectors may contact us .

The variety of techniques and styles present in “El Arte del Gran Premio” astounded viewers.

Abel Adrián, by contrast, explores the introspective dimension of painting. His work moves between the intensity of color and a reflection on identity and vital impulse. In his Red Bull I and II series, shown during the event, the human figure is absent, replaced by a red bull in motion, as if the painting sought to capture the instant when energy becomes thought. His work feels like an inner pulse vibrating between calm and eruption..

During the exhibition, Damor and Adrián shared space with renowned artists from the capital, in a night where art became pure experience: winged performers, mythological figures in motion, and live painters transformed the Sofitel into an effervescent stage.

Their works spoke to that collective energy: Damor’s ritual sculptures brought a physical, almost mystical presence, while Adrián’s paintings grounded emotion through matter and color. Two opposing yet complementary languages—stone and light, action and contemplation, pulse and silence.

Contemporary Performances

It was a night that reminded everyone why art continues to be a space of communion—a place where emotion becomes form, and form becomes emotion once again.

From Clavo, we deeply thank Colectivo ADN and curator Helue for the invitation and for opening a space that celebrates collaboration, risk, and shared beauty.
